BHC RHODES recently launched its new Opti Site Selection Service SM at the annual conference of the CTIA – The Wireless Association in Las Vegas. BHC RHODES will use its experience with fiber network design, data collection and GIS mapping to select ideal locations for small-cell sites, quickly bringing them to construction.
While most cell towers take more than a year to go up, small cells could be developed, permitted and brought up to service within a few months. Due to their smaller size, small-cell sites could also be more easily be integrated with existing infrastructure, providing bandwidth to users in high-traffic locations. They are also critical for providing service to hard-to-reach spaces, and adding needed bandwidth to busy spaces.
