Advanced Infantry Training Dining Facility

BHC RHODES teamed on the AIT DFAC (Advanced Infantry Training Dining Facility) at Fort Leonard Wood, MO to provide civil engineering design. The project consisted of construction of a 30,000 SF design-build military dining hall and supportive administrative spaces. The dining hall is capable of feeding 1,300 trainee soldiers three times a day, seven-days a week. BHC RHODES completed the civil engineering which included earthwork, environmental protection, parking areas, pedestrian walkways, landscaping, storm water pipe installation and connections into the existing system. This project has qualified as a LEED Silver certifiable.
