Cable Landings

An Alaskan telecommunications company constructed an undersea festoon fiber optic cable system to connect several coastal cities in Alaska, to the lower 48 states at Seattle, Washington. They selected BHC RHODES to assist in the site selection, landing, design, permit acquisition, and construction of the project. BHC RHODES provided site surveying and engineered the direct trench and directional bore alignments and profiles, and four ocean ground beds. BHC RHODES also prepared the necessary drawings, obtained local permits and produced construction documents.
