The future of smart cities and mobile connectivity is driving the industry

BHC RHODES civil engineering and surveying firm hired Mr. Kevin Travelstead to lead their national telecom engineering sales initiatives. Travelstead will focus on two markets, telecom fiber and wireless. He brings more than 22 years experience in the telecom industry with the last 12 years in sales leadership roles. The industry is booming due to the need for additional bandwidth for supply and demand for the IoT, the future of 5G wireless technology, and smart city infrastructure. BHC RHODES launched their wireless small cell service two years ago at the CTIA Super Mobility Conference where they revealed a more strategic, efficient and accelerated solution for small cell site deployments.

BHC RHODES started business in telecommunications 26 years ago and provides services in the U.S. and internationally. To-date the firm has worked for well-known companies such as Google Fiber, AT&T and Cox Communications.
