The Blue Springs School District approved a $99 Million bond issue in 2018 for a variety of improvements to multiple facilities within the district. BHC provided services that included survey, civil site and utility design and stormwater management for the expansion of the following schools: Chapel Lakes Elementary, Franklin Smith Elementary, James Lewis Elementary, James Walker Elementary, John Nowlin Elementary, Lucy Franklin Elementary, Moreland Ridge Middle School, Thomas Ultican Elementary, and William Bryant Elementary.
