Seattle, WA to Minneapolis, MN Long Haul Fiber

BHC supported an international fiber and data center owner on a 2,000-mile long haul build between Seattle, Washington, and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Scope included conduit and microduct installation, vaults and manholes, cable and microcable placement, and ILA buildings across terrain ranging from rural corridors to dense urban areas. BHC deployed compliance inspectors along the route to observe, report, and document construction progress and installation quality, enabling early defect identification and faster corrective action with contractors. The team emphasized proper handling, splicing, and racking of microfiber due to its more fragile installation requirements. BHC also developed a custom ESRI-based electronic entry program with a real-time dashboard, providing visibility into where work was occurring and streamlining issue tracking and reporting by span and contractor.
