Dodge City Pedestrian Bike Trail

Dodge City was selected by the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) to receive Transportation Enhancement funds for the construction of 5,000 LF of new multi-use trail. The trail is located along US-50 and connects two segments of trail constructed in previous projects. This 10-foot wide concrete trail system connects the local community college and a neighborhood park. This project also included landscaping, benches and other amenities to serve pedestrians and cyclists as a critical link within the City’s overall trail plan. BHC RHODES provided design and surveying services for this project. This project was administered through the KDOT Bureau of Local Projects.
