Huntsville Utilities Joint Use

BHC RHODES performed the joint use, construction ride out (CRO), GIS mapping, drafting and construction documents for a FTTH network with 26,084 utility poles and six network hub sites to facilitate the design, construction, and implementation of a FTTH network for the City of Huntsville. A 100,000 subscriber capacity network was planned, designed and constructed in cooperation between Huntsville Utilities, City of Huntsville and The Broadband Group. Huntsville Utility added more scope for the power space planning. BHC RHODES provided joint use solutions for the utility owned line crews to perform including power space planning, primary loading analysis, communication space planning and MR solutions for the Construction Manager.
