For the past 30+ years, the City of Westwood has been working with Roeland Park, Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, and other partners to plan improvements to 47th Street to make the corridor safer and more inviting, as well as to implement other strategies to support businesses. BHC was selected by KDOT and the City of Westwood to provide construction inspection services for road improvements to 47th Street from Mission Road to Rainbow Boulevard. BHC provided construction inspection, documentation, and material testing for removal and replacement of curb & gutter, asphalt roadway, sidewalk, ADA ramp replacement, and storm inlets.
