Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. BHC provided landscape architecture, site design refinement, and civil engineering services. The Chicken N Pickle in Henderson, NV included outdoor covered courts, indoor courts, a restaurant, dog park, and other recreational spaces. Our planting design not only shielded adjacent streets from view but also enhanced outdoor areas with vertical, layered plantings. Our plant palette was carefully curated to emphasize seasonal interest and textural diversity. Given the desert climate’s harsh temperatures and sun exposure, the inclusion of native shade-producing species was essential to the overall design’s success. Other provided services included grading, utilities, and stormwater compliance for new sites.
