John Knox Village is a 200+ acre Life Plan Community that provides multiple living options for seniors.  The community provided an initial dog park concept sketch. BHC proposed enhancements to the concept to ensure residents of all ability levels could utilize the amenity.  The design included a double-gated entry for pet safety, benches for longer visits, sanitary clean-up stations, dog and human water fountains, a charming dog-bone shaped patio, and an accessible paved walking path for patrons as their pets frolic in the park. BHC provided site design, grading, utility design, and planting design for the project.
