BHC was chosen by the City to provide inspection services on the realignment of Maurer Road from 87th Street to Loiret Boulevard. The project included 11,000 tons of asphaltic concrete, 7,200 LF of new curbs, a roundabout, HDPE and concrete storm sewer pipe, new storm structures, new traffic signals, new 5’ sidewalks along each side Maurer Road and a10’ mixed-used concrete trail along 87th Street. This project also included realignment of a major intersection, a new sanitary sewer system, and utility coordination. This project was part of a Special Benefits District through the developer and the City of Lenexa.
