The Grain Valley Police Department currently operates out of a shared building constructed in 2001. Since the time of construction, the police department staff has more than doubled in size. Because of this, Grain Valley residents voted to move forward with a new police station for the Grain Valley Police Department, accommodating current needs as well as future growth. BHC provided site civil engineering including site layout, grading, and utility design for a new 21,000 SF police station. Site challenges included existing topography, integrating an existing trail network, and BMP design.
