Evergy continually strives to better serve the community and end user. As part of an improvement initiative for better serving a Leawood, Kansas neighborhood, Evergy installed new sectionalizers. Five new pieces of equipment were installed at five separate workpoint locations. Each workpoint site was analyzed for existing elements to remain, elements that may be impacted during equipment installation, and existing environmental conditions such as sun exposure. A rendered perspective was generated for each location demonstrating the equipment and its planted screening. Screening followed Evergy-required safety setbacks and City of Leawood aesthetics. Construction documents were provided with plans, section elevations, and planting details.
