As part of BHC’s on-call engineering services for the City of Merriam, BHC’s team assisted the City with creating bid documents for their 2025 street maintenance work package. Intended to perform asphalt mill and overlay work, curb replacement, and sidewalk improvements for a new neighborhood each year, this program is critical for keeping City infrastructure in working order. BHC’s team leveraged GIS capabilities to combine a custom field data collection form with GPS antennae to speed up determination of where replacement sections were located and simplify creation of project mapping and quantities.
