BHC was selected by the City of Shawnee for the 3 block reconstruction of 60th Street from Flint Street to Nieman Road. This project consisted of three residential blocks of street improvements including installation of additional underground storm sewer piping, curb inlets, and street lights. It also included approximately 1,800 LF of new curb & gutter, residential driveway improvements, and installation of full depth 8” asphalt paving. Also included in the project were a new 4’ wide sidewalk and ADA ramp installation along the north side of 60th Street from Flint Street to Barton Street, and along the south side of Barton Street to Nieman Road for improved residential access throughout the neighborhood.
