BHC provided full-time construction engineering for this KDOT funded Unified Government project. The project included total reconstruction of the city street and drainage improvements from I-70 to State Avenue. Along the arterial street replacement, the project consisted of the replacement/addition of sidewalks, streetlights, traffic signals, fiber interconnect and large decorative retaining walls. Construction was sequenced in several phases to allow two-way traffic throughout the construction duration and was completed under the allowed 240 working days. This project was administered through the KDOT Bureau of Local Projects.
