BHC delivered design and related services for a Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTh) network serving approximately 80,000 homes in Meridian, Idaho. BHC’s team validated and corrected address data for input to auto-design tools and completed constructability reviews covering side-of-road routing, aerial versus buried construction, and vault and cabinet placement. The scope also included joint use pole design and application support for aerial runs, fiber allocation and splicing design, quality control checks, and construction package development. BHC obtained construction permits, including traffic control designs, where required. ESRI GIS applications supported geodatabase development and long-term facilities management (FM) system integration for use over the life of the network.
