BHC provided route validation, route engineering, utility coordination, and permitting support for an 800-mile FTTh project in Austin, Texas. ESRI ArcMap supported comprehensive project drawings that combined existing GIS datasets, real-time field data collection, and archived utility data in the required format. Project delivery required an aggressive schedule, and BHC developed a web-based tracking and reporting system for rapid client review. The team completed walk-outs for final route validation and produced more than 600 permit application packages with more than 2,000 individual route drawings. Permit tracking continued through successful construction permit issuance.
