The FTTH Design in Huntsville, AL included joint use, construction ride out (CRO), GIS mapping, drafting and construction documents for a Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network with 26,084 utility poles and six network hub sites to facilitate the design, construction and implementation of a FTTH network for the City of Huntsville. A 100,000 subscriber capacity network was planned, designed and constructed in cooperation between Huntsville Utilities, City of Huntsville and The Broadband Group. Huntsville Utility added more scope for the power space planning. BHC provided joint use solutions for the utility owned line crews to perform including power space planning, primary loading analysis, communication space planning and joint use solutions for the construction manager.
