Johnson County is proposing to replace a few existing facilities with one new combined building. The new 150,000 SF building will be located on the County’s existing Sunset Campus. BHC provided site design, grading, utilities, and stormwater management for the project. The project will be pursuing a sustainability certification as well. This project enhances the exterior of a health services building, creating an inviting and accessible environment for patients, visitors, and staff who work in the offices. Thoughtfully selected plantings provide year-round greenery and texture, while carefully designed hardscapes support long-term functionality. Walkways, seating areas, and lighting improve comfort and circulation, making it easy for everyone, whether coming for care or working on-site, to navigate the grounds safely. The design fosters a professional, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the quality of services and work taking place inside.
