The City of Edwardsville has been evaluating infrastructure improvements to support future development near the 110th Street interchange along I-70, a high-profile area near the Kansas Speedway and Hollywood Casino. The City selected BHC to prepare preliminary plans for sanitary sewer infrastructure improvements, including approximately 4,000 FT of sanitary sewer mains, a lift station, a directional bore crossing the I-70 right-of-way, and approximately 3,800 FT of force main. These improvements will serve more than 100 acres and establish infrastructure for future projects. The effort required coordination with the Unified Government and KDOT to facilitate connections and address construction considerations within the I-70 corridor.
