Q39 is a Kansas City original, blending the tradition of competition-style barbecue with the energy of a chef-driven, contemporary dining experience. The brand continues to expand its reach while staying true to its roots, delivering exceptional food in spaces designed to bring people together. BHC worked closely with architect and client to facilitate the successful design of an outdoor patio space, meant to increase both user experience and total sales for Q39’s newest concept in Lee’s Summit.  Native grass plantings are framed by stone seat walls that soften the space with natural texture and also provide durable, functional seating for large groups. An outdoor fireplace serves as a gathering feature, while chairs and other furnishings were selected to complement Q39’s brand identity and create an inviting, memorable dining atmosphere. BHC also worked diligently to meet all code requirements in a timely manner, allowing this development to proceed on schedule.
