The new Fire Station Headquarters will be designed with space to support modern equipment, improved response times, and safer working conditions for firefighters. BHC services included support of site layout development, coordination with the overall master development of the campus surrounding the Katy Trail, site grading, and utility design. The Fire Training Center will provide Sedalia’s first responders a place to train under realistic conditions, improving readiness. The bowling alley will provide a fresh destination for residents of all ages to enjoy. It was designed with pedestrian and parking connections to a future pool site and the Katy Trail. Utility mains throughout the campus were designed to efficiently serve all proposed buildings and potential future sites. Stormwater detention and quality were analyzed to not overload the existing infrastructure.
