Taco Bell was founded by Glen Bell, an entrepreneur who first opened a hot dog stand called Bell’s Drive-In in 1948. He operated a variety of restaurants in California and in 1952, built the first Taco Bell in Downey, CA. Today Taco Bell restaurants are based out of Irvine, California, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc. The 7,000+ restaurants currently serve more than 2 billion customers each year. BHC provided a wide range of services for the development of Taco Bell restaurants in the Kansas City Metro area. These include site feasibility studies for site selection, 3D visibility modeling, traffic studies/design, stormwater studies/design, utility coordination, entitlement approval, civil design, land surveying and landscape design.
