This project delivered a targeted fiber build of approximately 14 miles within the town limits of Whitehall, Montana. The initial design combined aerial and underground construction, then transitioned to a fully underground installation to maintain schedule and improve constructability. BHC supported the project from early planning through final design, providing High-Level Design (HLD), CRO fielding, make-ready engineering (MRE) fielding and office support, Low-Level Design (LLD), permitting, and construction drawings. Coordination was central to delivery. Visionary coordinated with multiple homeowner associations to secure access across private streets, while BHC led agency coordination with the Montana Department of Transportation, the county, and the town of Whitehall. The project required Montana DOT, town, county, and railroad permits, which were advanced through a clear, collaborative approval process.
