BHC teamed with J.E. Dunn and Hoefer Welker on this 62,350 SF design-build project that included a multi-phased medical renovation as part of a National MATOC contract with the Army Corps of Engineers. The project consisted of multiple department renovations and infrastructure upgrades for the 509th MDG Medical Group facility. By updating existing functional configuration of the clinic, the design-build team was able to simplify wayfinding, co-locate related departments and appropriately separate patient/public and staff/support zones. BHC provided engineering and survey services for a temporary phasing facility in the existing parking lot that could be used to provide the continuation of services while the existing facility was renovated. This included utility design and sidewalk improvements.
This project was a winner of the Design-Build Award from DBIA Mid-America Region.
