50th Terrace and England Street Storm Improvements
The neighborhoods of South Park and Silverwood in Merriam, Kansas were in need of storm system upgrades. BHC provided engineering design and surveying for storm sewer improvements along 50th Terrace and England Street. These services included a topographic design survey, analysis of existing drainage conditions, and the preparation of construction documents. The existing CMP was replaced with 1,300 LF of RCP. In addition, 1,160 LF of Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) was installed to minimize construction and disruption to the neighborhood. This project also included epair and the cleanup of an open channel area.
