The City of Edwardsville selected BHC to design a sidewalk extension along 104th Street to serve the Williamson Farms neighborhood and improve safety for pedestrians traveling to and from Edwardsville Elementary School. The project includes 1,900 LF of sidewalk along 104th Street, from the existing sidewalk at Edwardsville Elementary on the south to Metropolitan Avenue on the north.  An additional 300-LF connector trail provides direct access to a cul-de-sac at Barber Avenue and 104th Terrace in the Williamson Farms neighborhood. This section of sidewalk serves as the primary crossing location for students during the school year. Future phases include additional sidewalk extensions north of the project to provide a safe and continuous walking path from K-32 to Shawnee Road.
