The project will include roadway bicycle elements with paved shoulders, similar to the 199th improvements west of Ridgeview Road. This segment of 199th Street is included in the MARC regional plan as a planned regional bike route. 199th Street from Ridgeview Road to Renner Road is south of Spring Hill High School and is a east-west arterial connecting Spring Hill to Hwy 169. This one-mile project includes two-way roadway upgrades to a curb and gutter section with bike shoulders. The road alignment is shifted north to accommodate future roadway lanes on the south and a median. This project will improve roadway conditions and future connectivity of the region.
