Homeowner access was maintained throughout construction of this concrete paving project through a residential neighborhood and an apartment complex. It consisted of 12,698 SY of 7” concrete paving, 4,100 FT of sidewalks, 40 ADA ramps, 2,450 FT of new storm system and 600 FT of integral sidewalk retaining wall. The project used approximately 5000 CY of concrete for paving, sidewalk, walls, driveways and ADA ramps. Utility coordination was key for this project, with an overhead transmission power, new underground streetlighting, sanitary sewers, gas services and telecommunications, making sure these utilities were either moved prior to construction or relocated within the project scope to keep the project moving forward without delay was key to this projects success.
