50th Terrace and England Street Storm Improvements

The neighborhoods of South Park and Silverwood in Merriam, Kansas required storm system upgrades to address drainage deficiencies. BHC provided engineering design and surveying for storm sewer improvements along 50th Terrace and England Street. These services included a topographic design survey, analysis of existing drainage conditions, and preparation of construction documents. The existing corrugated metal pipe (CMP) was replaced with 1,300 LF of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). In addition, 1,160 LF of Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) was installed to minimize construction impacts and disruption to the neighborhood. The project also included repair and cleanup of an open channel area.
