As the city of Basehor, KS continues to grow, a master plan was developed to meet the existing and future needs of City staff, City functions, and the community. In turn, the municipality wished to develop a new City Hall location near the corner of 158th and Garden Parkway. This newly constructed facility will better accommodate the needs of the City as well as implement best practice measures for security needs. BHC provided site civil engineering design including grading, stormwater management, and utility routing for the 9,200 SF City Hall. This project required coordination with the City, architect, and other designers to ensure new construction complied with an overall civic campus master plan.
