Atlantic Engineering Group (AEG) selected BHC as their partner for the Fiber Hut Design in the Kansas City Metro project. BHC’s role was to provide civil engineering site design and surveying for sixteen fiber huts that house the equipment that run ultra-high speed internet service. BHC reviewed proposed site locations, developed site designs, identified constructability challenges, as well as jurisdictional due diligence to identify required entitlements and ensure compliance with codes and ordinances for the fiber hut design. In addition BHC provided design for retaining walls, topographic surveying, property research and writing the legal description in support of the lease documents for the land under the hut sites.
