The Midtown Transit Center is located in the heart of the State Avenue Connex bus route which serves Wyandotte County, KS. The route stretches 11 miles and includes 32 transit stops. The facility, consists of 11,000 SF and includes a Midtown Kansas City, KS Police Department Patrol Division, the Area Agency on Aging’s mobility management services, as well as a community space for a broad range of community activities. BHC provided the surveying and civil engineering services for this facility as well as the engineering design for the entire bus route.
