The City of Basehor selected BHC to support the development of data-driven information and recommendations to help inform the community and City leadership during consideration of a new sales tax dedicated to infrastructure maintenance. As part of this effort, BHC leveraged an AI-based pavement assessment tool to evaluate existing roadway conditions and identify appropriate maintenance strategies. The resulting analysis was used to develop a fiscally responsible, 10-year maintenance program aligned with the anticipated program budget. To promote transparency and public understanding, BHC also created an interactive web map that allows residents to view planned street improvements by entering their address.
