BHC assisted the City of Edwardsville in applying for and securing Federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) funding for roadway improvements to 110th Street and Riverview Avenue. This was to support upcoming commercial and industrial development south of I-70. 110th Street will be reconstructed from a 2-lane to a 4-lane divided parkway section and Riverview Avenue to a 3-lane section to support more vehicles and left turns safely. A new 2-lane roundabout at the intersection will support growing traffic while accommodating a high percentage of trucks efficiently.
