BHC was selected to provide the construction inspection, materials testing, and project documentation for the 35-46 KA 7190-01 project. This concrete patching and asphalt overlay project was constructed at night due to the high volume of traffic and the impact involved with the required lane closures. The project consisted of 11,749 tons of reflective crack interlayer and 54,650 tons of asphalt over 5 lanes of southbound I-35, including 7 ramp interchanges. The project included 4,041 SY of full-depth concrete patching, 774 SY of partial-depth concrete patching, and 1,069 LF of concrete safety barrier wall repair/replacement. The project will complete with 131,000 LF of permanent striping.
