BHC evaluated and designed conduit attachment systems for eight bridges across the Kansas City metro area for Kansas Fiber Network. The team completed field reviews to confirm structural integrity, spatial availability, and constructibility, and developed bridge-specific attachment details aligned with each bridge owner’s requirements. BHC reviewed existing bridge structural plans and produced detailed drawings for permitting and construction. BHC managed permitting and environmental review for each bridge, partnering with ICF to complete focused biological and wetland field surveys, cultural resource surveys, and environmental permitting approvals, and coordinating multiple USACE Nationwide Permits, including work over navigable waters and a levee crossing.
