The state of Kansas has recognized the shortage of long-term care needs to support veterans in the state. To address this, the state engaged a design team to develop plans for the Northeast Kansas Veterans Home. BHC completed site design, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for the project. The project followed the Department of Veterans Affairs Residential Design Guidelines. This project will move to construction when sufficient funds are obtained.
