North Kansas City is in the middle of a wave of redevelopment. Aging stormwater, sanitary sewer, and water systems are due for upgrades, and the City has mapped out a decade of capital improvements to keep pace with growth and protect residents and businesses. To help move projects from planning to construction as needs arise, the City selected BHC to provide on-call engineering support across the community. Backed by Stantec and McCurdy Engineers, our team has begun work through multiple task orders, including drainage improvements, sanitary sewer connection upgrades, and a major assessment of a sanitary sewer pump station. As the program continues, BHC is positioned to support additional site-specific assignments and on-demand GIS services, giving the City a responsive partner for the next set of infrastructure decisions.
